Orientation of 4th batch & Cleaning issue

We are arranging the orientation of 4th batch this year. We have planned something new this time. We are arranging a tour at IIT for the new batch so we are cleaning the whole IIT for this purpose. Then,we are going to arrange a logic game contest where we will ask some questions to the new batch and the 1st three students will get prize. We also have a gaming contest where FIFA,NFS,Chess,Sudoku,Minesweeper etc will be played and the winners will get prize. A movie show is also being arranged. So we need fund for these arrangements and decoration of IIT. We have fixed 100 tk per head for this and we need this amount before 31 december so that we can start the arrangement.

Orientation date:-From 3rd january-7th january(except 6th january)

If the orientation program is starting from 3rd January then when will our class start? Will it start from 7?? yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......

This is almost obvious that some of the new comers will have very little or no idea about computer. Computer games in orientation is a very poor idea because it will frighten those people instead of inspiring them.

We arranged two more orientation before, we never needed that amount of money. Where exactly are you planning to spend that?

We submitted an application in advance for one week vacation for first batch It is accepted or on the way to be accepted.

why first batch? why not all of us

because we have been working as intern even in this month.

We are arranging simple games like sudoku and chess which does'nt need any computer knowledge.So there is nothig to be frightened I guess!



In the previous two orientations there was no planning for welcome gift or prize for contests like this year. There was also no planning for decoration of IIT.So I hope you can understand why we need money.


p.s:If there remains any extra money we'll fund if for upcoming sport events.
