Adding Equalizer in Rhythmbox Empty Adding Equalizer in Rhythmbox

Rhythmbox is the default music player / music library management software utility for ubuntu.
Pity that they don't have a plugin for equalizer.

But that is the fun of opensource.

there is this free plugin I picked up from another website which works pretty well as a equalizer for rhythmbox. (around 4KB)

Now, you have downloaded it right?
unzip it using this command:

Code:
tar -xvzf rhythmbox-equalizer.tar.gz

now, move it to /usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins through nautilus.

Also, you can do it via terminal like this:

Code:
sudo cp -R equalizer /usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/

there is a slight problem with this plugin though Neutral You need to restart RhythmBox to hear the changed equalizer effects. (I am not sure if it will be like this when I reboot though ^_^ )
