Downloading video from Youtube

There are many software available for downloading you tube.
Personally I prefer the Firefox extension "DownloadHelper".
To use it, go to
tools>add-on>get add-on
then in text box, type DownloadHelper, search for it, and then install it.

And if you don't want to use any software, there is another trick.
in the video url, such as "www.youtube.com/...."

just add an "kiss" before youtube, so that the url looks like:
"www.kissyoutube.com/..."

That will lead you to another page where you will find a direct link to download the video.

However, that requires java runtime environment in your pc.

You may try Cometbird Browser. It can download any video... not only Youtube...
