Zoom Ultra ZTE AC2726 Installataion Problem in Windows7

OS: Windows7 32bit
Citycell Zoom Ultra
Modem: ZTE AC2726


I was using Zoom Ultra ZTE AC2726 modem both in my Windows7
After reinstalling windows7, faced problem in installing the modem. The modem was supposed to be installed automatically after plugin. But when it is being installing, it shows that there is a problem in install.exe and ask for online solution or choosing any program. Then it shows installation finished. A Zoom icon also appears in desktop. But it doesn't work. But why this is happening?

I heard this same problem from two other IITans (Namely Saeed & Muttakin from BIT02).

...And now comes to the solution. The problem was caught and solved by Amit.

Solution:

If you set Bangla in time and language setting while installing windows, the problem to install zoom ultra ZTE AC2726 modem occurs. So, just go to-

Control Panel-> Clock, Language, and Region-> Region and Language -> Formats Tab-> in Format, set English (United States) the click Apply and OK.

Finish

Now try to install the modem after plug in it. It will work Smile

Nah, google solved it actually. When Saeed first faced the problem, I took help from google and solved it. Then I requested Saeed to make a topic about it. He didn't do, but you did it. So obviously, it is a great work
