Why people upload their file in mediafire
I don't know why people upload their file, documents, presentation in media-fire?
Why they don't use box? we can upload here 1GB file and its free.
Why we don't use hot-mail account? hot-mail gives 25GB free space per account, isn't good for you?
mydatanest.com is good one.
keepandshare.com is another good one. its more secure. It use https instead of http. I think you guys know the difference between https and http.
Guys try the box. I think it is more better than others. I like it, prefer it and would like to recommend you.
Let me give you a very small list of free file hosting site.

Re: Why people upload their file in mediafire
Allow me to explain why we use mediafire.
It provides unlimited amount of space .
And unlimited bandwidth as well.
Again, you can download multiple files from mediafire at the same time.
It does not require captcha.
It does not make you wait for more than 5 seconds.
It has a loooong established history of continuous stable performance, which is not applicable for most of the file sharing websites.
And if you use skipscreen addon of firefox, mediafire links are as good as direct links.
They are photo sharing links.
mydatanest WAS recommended by this forum. But due to recent instability issues(their server was down for about 2 weeks. And they don't bother updating their website.), it is no longer recommended.
4shared is good, but it is not good for files in the long run. Why? they expire if you do not login for a while. and it makes you wait. Bad download speed as well. (or it hates me?)
rapidshare? Never got the "Your Ip is already downloading a file" I assume?
The same thing shows up for filefactory, uploading.com, megaupload, uploaded.to
Zshare puts 60 days time limit. Whats the point for using them in forum if the files get deleted even before the semester ends?
BTW, for presentations, slideshare.net is a very good choice.
I have not gone through all the file sharing websites, but most of them. Considering that it does not create any problem for me whether I download/upload from it (i have downloaded about 5GB from mediafire this month already) I continue using it. yes, it was unstable for 1 week (slow download speed/ file can not be downloaded) for 4/5 days about 3 or 4 months ago, but it satisfied me totally.
For other forum members, there is no obligation to use any specific file sharing website, and they are free to choose any as long as:
1) the files are available for a big amoung of time.
2) it does not prevent downloading multiple files at once.
3) easy to use.

Re: Why people upload their file in mediafire
I feel media-fire is very much wired while downloading something from it.
Re: Why people upload their file in mediafire
yeah, it has some advertisements, and probably weird too.
but it has one very advanced feature.
1) you uploaded a file.
2) someone else uploaded a file
3) I can copy both file and keep them in my mediafire account in my own folder
what happened? I can arrange them according to my own wish :p
