Firefox occurring problem while opening mail

I am a XP user. I use Firefox as my casual browser. But very recently it is occurring a serious problem while opening my mail inbox. Whenever I click any of a mail to read a mail, a message appears- Microsoft has discovered a serious error in firefox.exe and since it need to close.........
What is the problem here and how can I get remedy? Who can help me? Shocked

You need to provide some more information:

1. Does this happen for all mails? Yahoo.. gmail.. hotmail?
2. can you Provide a screenshot?
3. Have you tried reinstalling the current firefox or the latest firefox?

Also, if it is yahoo mail causing you problems try this:

The Yahoo!® Application State plugin can cause crashes. You'll need to disable this plugin.

1. From the menu at the top of the Firefox windowbar, select FileFirefox and then select the ExitQuit FirefoxQuit menu item.
2. Open My Computer or Windows Explorer.
3. Browse to the directory: C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\shared
4. Delete the file npYState.dll. Now that this plugin has been removed, Firefox may stop crashing when using Yahoo!® Mail.

Removing the plugin will not affect your ability to use Yahoo! Mail.

Oh this problem doesn't appear in gmail or others. The only problem is in yahoo. I have reinstalled Firefox and also installed the latest version of Firefox. You can see the screen shot here

Oh the same thing happened while giving you a + vote. And I found
C:\Program Files\Yahoo! but from this \shared and npYState.dll were not found to delete. Cool
