installing avro from source (64 or 32 bit)

installing avro from source (64 or 32 bit) Empty installing avro from source (64 or 32 bit)

just download this file

extract it. open terminal and go to the directory named "scim-avro-0.0.2"

now, run these commands -
sudo apt-get install scim-dev
./configure
make
sudo make install

But this folder don't contain any file named scim-dev. May be that's why it tells me
Need to get 26.9MB of archives.

I wonder why you want to compile it from source instead of using the already compiled one Neutral
What problem occurred and how did you solve it?

Scim is not installed in my pc. the size of the package "scim-dev" is 26.9MB. So I did not do anything. I will do it after vacation Wink
