Tutorial for installing Shabdik-The firefox plugin for typing bangla

well guys, your problem is resolved.
I have found the way to use Shabdik in Ununtu, firefox v3.0.11.
First of all, install Shabdik plugin.

your firefox will ask you for permission to install plugin from webpage. Allow it.
if above link doesn't work, try going to this page
Click on the image or link there, and similarly, allow the installation request.
The plugin is around 220KB in size, so it won't take much time to be installed.
now,
restart firefox. in the lower right corner, you will see a triangular icon. double click on it to go to options.

Enable Dictionary. Select whatever method you like for typing, such as Avro, Bijoy etc.(I prefer Avro)

Now, how to type in bangla??
It is pretty simple to be honest.
To enable Shabdik, press Shift key twice. The triangular icon will lit up and will be colorful , indicating that Shabdik is turned on.
Press Shift Key twice again, and the triangular icon will go to its black and white state, indicating that Shabdik is turned off.

When you install Shabdik, it will also install a Shabdik bar under the address bar of firefox. There is a button called Shabdik pad. You may use it for offline Bengali typing, and for later processing as well.
