tutorial: uploading images in forum
There are mainly two ways of uploading images in forum.
By hosting an image.
and By giving url of the image.
Now, if you want to host image(i.e. your picture is not uploaded in
internet, is in your pc, you have the authorization to upload it, and
you want to share it) you will have to upload it somewhere. You can
upload it in forum's server(it uses www.servimg.com), or you can host
it in external sites(which is preferred. Too much uploads in forum's
own server might cause undesired results.)
To upload using servimg[which is not recommended], simply press this button.
Then, click on browse, select the image file you want to upload, and press ok.
then click on host.
After uploading, the following window will show up.
the first one gives something like this:
All the images given here are from the 2nd text box.
And the 3rd one simply gives the image link directly.
I am going to show you the external host method.
There are many image hosting services out there. I prefer photobucket.com
After registering, (how to register? I am sure you will find a way when you try enough.)
Choose the first option if you want to upload images from pc. Use the second option if you want to upload image directly from another url. We are going to use the first option.(from computer)
when you click on it, it will give you an window to select the image file. Select it and open it. Then.. it will show that the image is being uploaded.
then, after uploading, it will give you two options. Choose "Save & Get links".
it will take you to another window, where you will see something like this. Copy the code in last Text box, and paste it directly here.
I directly pasted above in making this post, and you are seeing the result. The image in your post
Hope this tutorial will be useful for you.

But actually, the second one is the complicated one here. And yeah, the first one does not affect the performance of the forum
Who knows why you found problem using the first method everyone use it now
Re: tutorial: uploading images in forum
I have used the 1st process in all my posts (images). I got that easy. But dont know why Efat is comfortable in 2nd one I haven't tried the 2nd one though.
