installing avro from source (64 or 32 bit)
just download this file
extract it. open terminal and go to the directory named "scim-avro-0.0.2"
now, run these commands -
sudo apt-get install scim-dev
./configure
make
sudo make install
extract it. open terminal and go to the directory named "scim-avro-0.0.2"
now, run these commands -
sudo apt-get install scim-dev
./configure
make
sudo make install

But this folder don't contain any file named scim-dev. May be that's why it tells me
Need to get 26.9MB of archives.

I wonder why you want to compile it from source instead of using the already compiled one

Scim is not installed in my pc. the size of the package "scim-dev" is 26.9MB. So I did not do anything. I will do it after vacation

scim-dev লাগবো কেন তোর এইটা তো developer দের জন্য
নাকি তুই পিচ্চি debian (<5MB) টা ইন্সটল করতে পারছিস না?
