Viewing post since last visit

Today i have almost 9 posts unread. After reading two of them my browser crashed. When i have logged in again and pressed the button 'view posts since last visit' it showed 'no topics met your criteria'. Why is this? I can't then search for unread posts in each section. How can i solve it? Any idea?

Unfortunately, that is a problem a forum webmaster can't resolve.

you see, it shows whether you read a topic or not using the cookies it leaves in your browser.

So, when you click on view posts since last visits, it saves that it showed you the things you wanted, and then leaves it blank.


I have a solution that might work, but it is all guess. I don't know if it will even work!! never tried it myself

Just delete the cookies you created today that might work you know.
Or there is another way.
Delete all the cookies. then restart browser.
Each and every post in forum will be unread to you, but the posts will be arranged according to date.

Once you click on view posts since last visit, you will be able to recognize which posts you didn't see, and regardless, all will be marked as read.
