making Ubuntu 9.10 Bootup faster
If you have a multicore processor, then you can use this trick to use both processors at startup time to make the Ubuntu loading time less.
First open terminal.
write:
sudo gedit /etc/init.d/rc
And change the line:
CONCURRENCY=none
to
CONCURRENCY=shellThat should make the bootup time faster

i don't use 9.10...i'm still in 8.10 and shall remain in it until next year..tnx.

I think this should work in Ubuntu 8.10 too.
