Spamming in the forums...
Well, I think this post is basically for Admin or Global Mod. people. Some days ago I heard about spam posts in forums. People comes into forums, posts a couple of posts containing some links. They do this for search engine optimization. And they are paid to do this. These days I noticed some users are posting things containing links. I am not accusing them for spamming. But, this gave a thought that spamming may happen in near future. I know non registered users can't see any links (which I don't like), but I think BB code and HTML should be turned off for a special group of people. Some other measures can also be taken.

Re: Spamming in the forums...
Hello there Muctadir!
You are right, our forum is now getting spammed on a regular basis.
And that has a good meaning actually. I never saw any unpopular forum getting spams. I am not saying that it is good, just that our forum is now popular enough to get troubled by spammers :p
Anyway, there are now some preventive measures.
Right now, we have this option which is not activated yet. It was provided to us just a couple of months ago. Based on your feedback, this option can be activated.
BTW, I am not sure why you are saying that non registered users can not see any links/images which you don't like because we already activated viewing links and images in most of the sections of this forum according to this feedback.

Anyway, when you don't like something, there is the feedback section. The forum is ours So feel free to provide feedback.
Edit:
BTW, disabling BBCode won't do it. In case you didn't notice, forum automatically converts url texts to url tagged url text.
I mean...
I am writing
http://example.com
I guess our honorable mods will have to play a bit more active role then. >.>

Re: Spamming in the forums...
topic replaced to ' Forum Feedbacks & Suggestions' section as it seems more suitable there.
