IBBL IUT 3rd National ICT Fest 2011, IIT's Success

On April 7th, and April 8th, 2011, IBBL IUT 3rd national ICT Fest 2011 took place.

The competition on university categories were programming contest, ICT Olympiad, and Project Showcase. Gaming tournament was open for all. General Knowledge competition was for colleges and below.

Here is IIT's Success there:

Programming contest:
Two teams participated from IIT. Each team solved 1 problem.

ICT Olympiad

3rd position:
Iftekhar Ahmed (BIT0220)

4th position:
Kaushik Roy (BIT0123)

5th Position:
Mahmud Sujon(BIT0223) (যেমন গুরু, তেমন শিষ্য)

7th Position:
Amit Seal Ami (BIT0122)

10th position:
Mirza Rehenuma Tabassum (BIT0129)

12th position:
Saeed Siddik(BIT0218)

Project ShowCase(3rd place)

Asif Imran Anik (BIT0119)
Md. Iftekharul ALam Efat (BIT0115)
Shofiqul Islam (BIT0110)

This is good right?

I mean, come on..

We didn't know many things like what is ICT olympiad. We have only began programming contests. And 3rd place winning project concept was developed in just ONE day.

But, Good is NOT good enough.

Next time We want to see every single award, from 1st place to 10th, or maybe more, to be in our grasp. We want 'em all.

Yeah,it was all strange to us. My first participation(guess same to the rest) in any ICT Olympiad. Didn't know much about contest format. But in a whole we all did splendidly.
And yes,there's no stopping. All we could do from here is to get better and better.

Next time We want to see every single award, from 1st place to 10th, or maybe more, to be in our grasp. We want 'em all.

I guess the participation of 2nd batch is totally disappointing, here on the achievement of IFTEKHAR how much we clapped from 1st batch. but where is the 2nd batch's guys participation??

Congratulations to all the guys who got place as well as participated . It's nice to see we are going strong day by day and our IIT is going to be recognised everywhere .I'm very much proud of being an IITan

yes, thanks a lot to all who have participated in different events. special thanks and congratz to Iftekhar and also to Efat vai, Asif vai and Shafiq vai for brightening the name of IIT. And I also expect spontaneous participation from all the batches will be ensured with the passage of time and also confident that IIT will perform better next time.
