Avro is a very popular software to type Bengali in windows.
However, it is written in VB, and it can not be converted to ubuntu versions easily.
So.. another software is now available for Bengali typing in Ubuntu. Which is very small in size, and it is a firefox add on Very Happy
And it's name is Shabdik.

we can all guess about it.

1. Firefox's latest version's infrastructure is different.
2. the software technology used in Shabdik is not compatible with firefox
