নতুন ব্যাচের জন্য কি করা যায়?

আমরা (প্রথম ব্যাচ) এক বছর আগে ২য় ব্যাচকে স্বাগতম জানিয়েছিলাম। অনেক কিছু করা হয়েছিল। খালেদ স্যার তাদের নিজেদের পরিচয় দিতে, মাইক ব্যবহার করতে লজ্জ্বা ভাংতে, টিম হিসেবে থাকতে আরো নানা ভাবে অনেক কিছু শিখিয়েছিলেন। আমরা চেষ্টা করেছিলাম আমাদের জীবন ধারা সম্পর্কে কিছু ধারণা নতুন ব্যাচকে দিতে। সিনেমা দেখানো হয়েছিল, সাথে presentation, আরো কত কিছুই। হয়তো বা আমরা বিশাল কিছু করতে পারি নাই, অথবা বিশাল কিছু শিখাতেও পারি নাই। কিন্তু চেষ্টা তো করেছি!

আমি মোটামুটি নিশ্চিত, অন্য কোথাও বাংলাদেশে এইভাবে নতুন ব্যাচকে স্বাগতম জানানো হয় না।

এখন সময় এসেছে আরো এক নতুন ব্যাচকে স্বাগতম জানানোর। আমার ধারণা ১ম ব্যাচ যেমন নতুন ব্যাচ আসছে এইটা ভেবেই দাঁত বের করে ফেলতো ,আমাদের বর্তমান ব্যাচ এবং ২য় ব্যাচ ও তাই করছে। বড় ভাই/বোন হবার মজাই আলাদা, তাই না? হয়তোবা এবারে টিচাররা তেমন বেশি অংশ নিবেন না। হয়তোবা আমাদের(ছাত্রদেরই) সব করা লাগবে। কিন্তু তাতে কি? আমরা তো গতানুগতিক ধারার ছাত্র না, তাই না? আমরা IITian । আমরা সব পারি

অনেক কিছুই করা যাবে তাদের জন্য। কিন্তু শেষ পর্য্যন্ত কি করা যাবে, কি করা হবে, তার সব টুকুই নির্ভর করছে আমাদের উপর। কাজেই, ভালো কিছু করতে হলে একটু আগে আগে শুরু করাই ভালো। আপাতত না হয় কি করা যাবে তা এখানে আলোচনাই করলাম।

সবার আগে জানতে চাই :p ৩য় ব্যাচ IIT এ পদার্পণ করবে কবে জানি?

আর কার কি মনে হয়? কি কি করা যায়?

Thats really an important thing you recalled. The orientation of the first two batch was almost totally conducted by Khaled sir who is absent now. So now its our duty to act. I will try to provide some suggestion.

how you should close only Sunday or Monday??
or you can close only Sunday-Monday, not other days

by the by, we can also did something to introduce themselves
or I can suggest to give some them some group works to finding or related while we do some group tasks
but, aware about all teachers will lend us to do so

ঐটা ডিপজলের ডায়ালগ ভাই। আমি কিছু জানি না।

ভালো কথা, আমি আজকে কবির স্যারের সাথে কথা বলেছি।উনি বলেছেন টিচার এবং ছাত্র, উভয় পক্ষের অংশ থাকবে। (উনি মনে হয় এই টপিক পড়েছেন বললেন চিন্তা না করতে) আর নতুন ব্যাচ আসবে জানুয়ারির মাঝামাঝি। কাজেই আমরা সেমিস্টারের শুরুতে কিছু সময় পাবো এসব বিষয় নিয়ে প্রস্তুত হতে।

but, I am not thinking to share these not now, because, firstly we need to ensure about the session :S

As we are student, so 3rd batch students will not care very much whatever we do. So, we will have to give extra effort. Thats only my opinion.

from my perspective, I am devoted to something better for them

It is almost already ( I said almost because of the sake of probability) certain that both teachers and students are going to participate.

And 3rd batch students. Some of them will care what we/teachers tell to them. Some of them won't bother listening even to the teachers. But if we present ourselves well, the number of non-listeners might decrease. After all, we are their seniors

Also we need to take an approach that would be convincing and motivating to all the students. We need to be very simple and not show them that we know a lot of things....just keep it simple and down to earth. I am confident that our batch is capable enough to convince them. An I get the feeling that we will get a very good and obedient group of boys and girls this time around. And I am confident that we can convince and motivate them, provided we take responsibility.

I agree and disagree with Efat. Why isagree?
they became nonsense to us becausewe saw these over 3 times. But I am certain that these are excellent to motivate people, make them think differently.

If we can find something better than them, certainly we can use some other things.

Why repeating? These are not the only good things in this world. Steve Job's speech is unique and classic indeed. I think it can be repeated for hundred times. But movies? I am supporting it no way. There are plenty of other good movies.

Like I said, if we can find some other better movies, we can certainly use them.

But at least suggest some movies!!!

we,2nd batch also thought about it.we couldn't share with u because we talked about it recently.and some of our 2nd batch mates have gone to a tour..However,we have discussed about a reception ceremony and we can give some souvenir.after that we can have some orientation classes as khaled sir did.but isn't it cool if one of our teachers do that?because i think taking those type of classes is ok for our teachers,but not for us.may be we can help our teacher with it.and our debate club can offer a funny debate in the reception ceremony too.howz about the idea?????
