BIT Batchwise mail groups

I was talking about your group which I told "BIT01 group".
..and if you told me..its quite unbelievable that I am not the member there

I am talking about google group created before. But now it is locked for lack of activity.

তোর হাজার হাজার email এর কোনটা ব্যবহার করেছিস তুইই জানিস।

তমা, কয়েকটা ছোট্ট ঝামেলা আছে google group এ।
-এইটা দেখতে খ্যাত।
-খ্যাত ভাব কাটাতে গিয়ে দেখি আমি appearance এ ঢুকতেই পারছি না।
মনে হয় এইটা lock হয়ে গেছে।
unlock করে কিভাবে এইটা এখন খুঁজা লাগবে (যদি locked হয় আরকি।)।

Yahoo mail is too much annoying, google is far better...

You said this at the sixth hour of the birth of this topic.
You should not expect everyones life is bounded inside computer... Life is much bigger. People do not go online all the time.

However, I know very few people will reply in this topic as usual, but the is not a big deal. Even when we ask something in class in presence of all, very few express their opinion. This is the admins' responsibility to ask for opinion, whether people reply or not. Otherwise you'll have to here things like "you do whatever you like".

You are good at work but are a very poor manager. You need to learn a lot of things about "how to lead a group". I would suggest you not to do business after you pass IIT. I believe your employees will leave you whenever the get a chance.

Let me clear up a few things. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

1. We are trying to discuss about.. where to place/make the group or which group to use. Where we are receiving mails is not an issue, as it can be changed.
2. Yahoo! group system has better manageability features.
2. Yahoo! group system looks better. (to me at least [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] this point can be ignored)
3. You can join in an Yahoo! group using an yahoo! id, but you can configure your group membership settings so that it can send mail to your Gmail account instead of Yahoo mail account.
4. I agree with Mohaimin's point of Yahoo! mail being annoying.

I searched this morning, and I could not find any way about how to receive Google group mails from another email address such as Yahoo! Am still searching, but this should be considered an important point, because not everyone will think like me/Mohaimin about Yahoo mail being annoying.

I am not expecting everyone to show up here to express their opinion. But consider this scenario.

->You shouted at the top of your lungs at class, asking for opinions, and very few answered.
->You did something based on few opinions, and then implemented some decisions.
->Next day, you were accused of doing things on your own, i.e. according to some, you didn't ask for opinion.
->Or although you give a very reasonable explanation of what you did and why, people accused of not explaining what is going on.

Once or twice, this event can be ignored. But hear that a dozen times, and anyone might get annoyed.

Anyway Mohaimin, I know I suck being a manager. But I am trying. You and Bazlur said that I write too many things. I now try to write less, and don't tend to answer probable questions in advance. That was convincing. I never knew that. Free Yahoo mail account to not provide this facility for personal mail. If it is possible for groups, then I dont have any problem. I just to log in to yahoo mail.

And, first thing to be a good leader is, "Do not blame your subordinates continuously, the will blame you too if you do so."

কিন্তু "I just to log in to yahoo mail." এইটা বুঝি নাই

একটা paradox দিয়ে দিলি বদ।
আমি সহজে শুনি না আমার কি খারাপ কি ভালো এইটা বলাও blaming কাজেই আমি এইটা বললে অন্যরা দোষ দেবে। আবার আমি এইটা না বললে হয়তো কেউ বলবেই না।

ভাল কথা, একটা জিনিষ গতকাল মনে পড়লো খালেদ স্যারের email পড়ে।
group email এ মজার, অথবা interactive email মনে হয় আসলেই দিতে পারা উচিত। তাহলে অন্য ব্যাচের ছাত্রদের সাথে কিছুটা হলেও যোগাযোগ থাকবে।
আমি বলছি না দুনিয়ার আজাইরা email সব পাঠানো যাবে, তবে একদমই পাঠানো যাবে এমনও না।
