provat layout - phonetic like way to write bangla...

many of us are looking for a good way to write bangla in ubuntu. for bijoy users ubuntu has got unijoy. but for phonetics users there are itrans which is not a good one. another popular one avro has a number of serious bug and you can't write some words with it. well there is another layout named provat. this is not phonetic but phonetic like. most of the bangla letters matches with corresponding english letters except four or five letters. you will get used to it if you use it someday. you will find the layout here.

this one comes with ibus as well as scim. you can set it as your default bangla writing layout by editing the ibus or scim preferences.
