Very Important! Read this! Change your username here (IITians only)




English version:

The IITians who didn't use standard format in their username can now change their username here.

The conditions:
1) you can change only once.
2) your desired username must follow the standard format. i.e. BITxxxx-Nickname

New users won't be accepted in the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]unless they follow the standard format.

How to request for changing?

Just give your desired nickname here Smile

What can I do to be a member of IIT Students group?:
Why should I be a member?:

বাংলাতে:
IIT এর ছাত্ররা , যারা তাদের নামে standard format ব্যবহার করেননি, এখন থেকে তাদের username ১বার পরিবর্তন করতে পারবে।

শর্তাবলী:

১) নতুন নাম অবশ্যই standard format অনুসারে হতে হবে। যেমন: BITxxxx-Nickname
২) পরিবর্তন শুধু মাত্র ১ বার করা যাবে।


standard format মানা না হলে নতুন ব্যবহারকারীরা [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]এর সদস্য হতে পারবে না।

কিভাবে পরিবর্তন করা যাবে?

খুব সোজা। শুধু মাত্র এখানে উত্তর দিয়ে নতুন নাম কি চাওয়া হচ্ছে তা বললেই হবে।

আমি IIT Students group এর সদস্য হতে চাইলে কি করবো?

এখানে এসে Standard format এ username বানালে এর কিছুক্ষনের মাঝেই সদস্যপদ দিয়ে দেয়া হবে। যদি দেরী হয়, তাহলে খালি আমাদের [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] এ গিয়ে সদস্যপদ পাবার জন্য আবেদন জানালেই হবে।

Also, please try to write Bengali, in Bengali. If you do not have software, you may try the "সরাসরি বাংলায় লিখুন" from the right panel.

In any way, nick can be changed only once. Because, we are allowing this only when the name is not in the proper format. Once you have it, there is no need and opportunity to change it.

Well, there was a previous id registered under your gmail account. But it was not activated. So I renamed the previous BIT0205-Saiful to BIT0205-Saiful-deactivated.
Now you are BIT0205-Saiful, and you are going to be given IIT student membership.

Now then,

monir had a previous account with username bit0211-monir which was close to the standard format.

Then,after taking permission from monir,I have set new password for bit0211-monir(he forgot his password) and changed the username of that account to BIT0211-Monir.

So BIT0211-Monir is now activated. You are requested to use that account with the new username BIT0211-Monir.
