C Huffman algorithm(periodical implementation): Text data Encryption

Long since our(BIT02) 2nd semester, we were given to implement the 'path length shortening algorithm of Huffman'.

After some successive failures,I was able to finish the encryption part of that few days back. Now I've decided to make a complete file zipping program after this success.

Apparently I'm sharing my triumph so far. But the later part of this project will come as soon I finish it.

And here is the .zip file of my code for text data encryption.
File size: around 3 KB

I actually read that post of you earlier. You suggested some URL shortening sites there. And mentioned a firefox add-on named Cutyfox URL Shortener.

But the problem for me is,I'm using Opera 10.63 in my Ubuntu 9.04 and I need some tool like Cutyfox Sad

so, do you work on only .txt files or others also? :S
as in my 1st semester I also worked on this project, but didn't finished that Razz

At the moment,I'm working only on .txt files. But I've desire to integrate this project with compression of other file formats after finishing this. Wink
