উবুন্টুতে ডিবেইন প্যাকেজ ইনস্টল

উবুন্টুতে ডিবেইন প্যাকেজ ইনস্টলের জন্য GDebi Package installer ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে।

সিনপ্টিকে GDebi লিখে সার্চ দিয়ে GDebi মার্ক করে ইনস্টলায় ফেলুন। তারপর যে কোন .deb ফাইলের উপর রাইট ক্লিক করলেই পেয়ে যাবেন .deb ফাইল ইনস্টলের উপায়।

টার্মিনালে GDebi ইনস্টলের জন্য টাইপ করুন-

sudo apt-get install gdebi

যাদের নেট স্লো স্পিড- সরাসরি সফটওয়ার ইনস্টল করতে অনেক সময় লাগে তাদের GDebi ব্যবহার করা ভাল। যে কোন জায়গা থেকে সফটওয়ারের ডেবিয়েন ফাইল ডাউনলোড করে এনে বাসায় বসে GDebi দিয়ে ইনস্টল করে ফেলতে পারেন।

Erm, I do not see any problem. All it says is that it was removed from ubuntu 10.10
I guess that was done because deb packages can be handled using software center.
But it was not unstable or something like that, as far as I know.
