Creating shortcuts in Ubuntu Empty Creating shortcuts in Ubuntu

Today, I was trying to create a shortcut (in ubuntu, it can be called symbolic links)to a file in another location, and I realized that I didn't know any except the terminal one.
But there should be some way using which we can create links, right? More easy and less time consuming way perhaps?
Yes, there is Smile

To create a link, place your mouse cursor over the file and you can then do any of these two things to create a shortcut link.

1. Press Ctrl, Shift and then drag the file using left mouse button.
2. Press the middle mouse button on the file, and then drag it. It will show a menu using which, you can create a shortcut Very Happy
