How to extract and create .7z, rar ect zipped files..............

I don't know that whether this type of post was given or not.......

Normally, Ubuntu can't extract any zipped file except .zip(very weak one)...........
To enable the strong zipped file formats(.7z, rar) a command is needed in terminal.....
That is......
sudo aptitude install p7zip-full rar arj lha

At the time of installation a security will be asked.Type there "yes".....
then u can extract and and create the other strong zipped file format..........

Err. I think the Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04 supports these formats by default, because I didn't install anything related to zip/archive, but it shows these formats by default:

Note: :p I am planning to use PeaZip for Ubuntu :p It is the best software for archiving as much as I know. Supports all formats in all methods :p
